"Congrats, dad. I hear you got a child." Sirius returned near the end of break, having stepped outside to the payphone to call Remus. He called Remus most breaks, just to check in, sometimes to sing a love song to him, sometimes to keep him abreast of the newest gossip. Or the other way round, as it turned out.

"Remus says Holden is upstairs sleeping by the telly, with a little boy in his arms." Bit of a weird story, honestly. But it was Holden, so he wasn't the most shocked. Still, he felt he had to inform Felix of that new development. "You two adopting? Cute."

He thought Holden would be a great dad. He was less sure on Felix.
