"I'll stay as long as I can tonight. Until the sun rises," Kian promised, watching Taliesin from the side. He was a pretty man more than anything, his werewolf. His beloved. Somehow that had happened. "No mortal has ever meant anything to me, Taliesin. Not until you."
He didn't know if Taliesin would be able to grasp the gravity of that, but for some reason he felt the need to tell him anyway. "And you're much better company than any immortal too, I can tell you that much."
"Immortals are old and boring. You want life. A pulse. Something in the world but not quite part of it. That's the fun of a werewolf. So don't leave or you'd get so bored without me. Maybe you'd last a week or a month, I hope not a year but people can be strange. Maybe you'll last but will you last well." No, not a chance. He leaned in close, sniffed his neck and then bite him, a sad and small attempt at a claiming bite. He didn't quite know how it was done, so he just bite wherever and however he fancied.
"You're mine and I'm yours so you'll have to come back. It's just logical."
"Very logical," Kian agreed, hiding a smile in Taliesin's hair as he pulled him close, both arms around him. He felt that spark now, energised from feeding, but he knew he'd taken too much tonight. He could feel and see his lover's energy waning, he didn't think he'd be awake much longer. "Close your eyes, darling. I'll stay with you as long as I can."

Only logical, as had been pointed out.
