"You should be careful, Taliesin. This time of night in a place like this, you could run into all sorts of sinister creatures." Kian knew that Taliesin had been waiting for him. He had watched him for a few minutes, simply to admire him in the moonlight. Waning moon right now, the full moon had passed. His Taliesin looked entirely human now, but he was still brimming with that energy brought on by the moon. Almost glowing with it.
Kian looked as always, dressed in a black suit, walking up to Taliesin. Now that he'd made himself known, he didn't want to wait any longer. He wrapped an arm around Taliesin's waist and pulled him close so he could catch his eyes and then kiss him. "Really dangerous. Looking like you and out alone..."
Sirius hadn't grown up around here, not like Remus. He had only started living here in the past few years, with school done and his family and him being mutually done with one another. Even so, he had still grown up with the stories of the beasts in the woods. And of the crazed man who never came into town.
He knew not to go into the forest during a full moon even before he knew why. Of course, now that he slept with Remus every night except those full moon ones, he knew so much more. So much more than he wanted to know.
Sirius was just human. He may have a bit more of a penchant for getting into and causing trouble than most, but he was still only human. He wasn't supposed to be a hero in a story like this and he was painfully aware of that. He was only human. Only human and walking through the forest. At least it was still daytime, but that didn't mean his heart beat any slower.
Remus had told him to get Taliesin. Remus, apparently, remembered playing with Taliesin when he'd been a child. All Sirius had heard from everyone else was that the man was better left alone. Dangerous, feral, deadly.
But supposedly, he never harmed humans. Anyway, Sirius had always had more courage than foresight, so he tried to use that to his advantage. He stopped on the edge of the clearing, calling out to that wooden shed. "Oi!"
How did he even address him? "CRAZY MAN! You home?!"
What a place. Not where he'd have seen his Taliesin, who liked to dream of mansions and tell him about all the luxuries he wanted. Who hadn't been shy about demanding gifts either. At the same time, he had always been happy to sleep under the stars with him, so he supposed one of his dual natures won out here.
Big time, it would seem, from what he'd heard. What he felt here too. Kian walked around the shack, feeling his energy. He was strong and feral, no doubt about that. Of course, Kian was strong too. He wasn't concerned for his safety, at least physically. How this reunion might go on any other level? He was less sure on that.
Finally, he approached the door and knocked. Simple. Nothing else was simple about this.
